Is this a new art piece for Burning Man? Any connection to the DDI folks?

It's done by Interpretive Arson - the same crew that did up DDI. It's something they've had for a while, though the sensors they were using for it were problematic. They've recently gotten a new set of sensors installed and have been dusting it off again - it's going out to maker faire this weekend.

I don't think it's going to BM this year, though (nor is DDI, for that matter)
