isn't that all we want? to be able to say to the world 'i was here'
and to have the world respond back in kind, and acknowledge it,
what meaning do we have, what meaning do our lives have,
without something outside of ourselves to acknowledge it,

in time, even these words will fade from this place,

and the world will have forgotten, and i'd be here alone,

that I was here?

Will you still be here? Will you be remembered?
We are but ships passing in the night,
points of light in each other's night skies...
