Books i've read so far in 2006:

• Virtual Light - by william gibson - really good. Holiday gift from spike. Like Zodiac w/boston, it was fun to read a near future novel in another area i'm familiar with (the SF bay area).
  
• Razor Wire Pubic Hair - by Carlton Mellick III - delightfully twisted. Holiday gift from contessagrrl. Quick read.
  
• Starting Your Career as a Freelance Photographer - by Tad Crawford - good advice in here, though i'm not sure how much i'll have forgotten by the time i need it...
  
• The Photographer's Handbook - 3rd Edition - by John Hedgecoe - excellent survey of equipment, techniques, physics, optics, etc....
  
• Wide Awake at 3:00 am: by Choice or by Chance - by Richard M. Coleman - borrowed from spike - interesting look into human sleep cycles and sleep disorders.
  
• Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers - by Mary Roach
