First run with the Canon G9 too. Short version - I like it/am pretty happy with it for a pocket camera. Will it replace my 5d? Probably not in the lifetime of either camera - but I can always have it on me in a way that the 5d may not be able to be. (E.g. concerts like coachella where the 5d wouldn't have been let in - or when i'm running around with film cameras and already have too much gear on me).
More thoughts on it in the future - more photos to, when i get a chance to actually go through them.
