Sol, That last comment was from me, I was logged in but even though I clicked the little logged in box it somehow took me to a weird error page. I'm going to paste what I wrote after I write this and you can delete at will.

You're an early adopter? No Fucking way?????? How did we never meet? I've been here since the beginning, since the early days when Brad actually posted his home phone number on his profile. I used to call him and chat. He was going to come stay with me in LA but it didn't work out for some reason. What a small world.

I loved your pictures on Flickr. I was so grateful to see them. Plus you're really funny.

I haven't been writing as much on my journal as I used to because things have been a tad tough lately but I still love my journal and am devoted to it. It bugs me how all of the other blog places have kind of taken off, but then again, maybe this is better, it being a smaller world here.

Must go to sleep while listening to Howard Stern on Sirius -- friends hate me for this, but he makes me laugh.

Hugs,
Jacqui

Hi, I'm soooooooooooooooooo relieved it was okay with you for me to link your photo on my journal. I wrote and asked and gave you credit but when I didn't hear back from you I was a little concerned because I'm careful about snagging people's imagery/art. I can't wait to check out your stream. I so missed going this year but my Mom has cancer and I'm her only living relative and we need to be with each other.

I hope you had a wonderful time. Thank you for posting the first pictures of the man burning early. It was so helpful to see them, it gave me a feeling of being connected that mere words unfortunately can't convey.

Big Hugs From a New Fan,
Jacqui

Hey! It was great to see you at Burning Man. Your photos are fabulous (all of them, not just the BM ones -- but do you have those up somewhere in a separate gallery or some such? I didn't take any pictures myself and have been enjoying perusing others').

somehow I only just realized that you've got gorgeous photos up on your lj. So, hello, and I've added you to my friends-list, if that's allright.

these are awesome!

Thanks! I almost wish I had spent more time with the camera at burningman.

That's frequently the dilemma with me - the bring camera or not bring camera. (I -am- pretty good about not skulking behind the viewfinder and missing the world when I have my camera with me - but i definitely move through the world differently when i have camera on-hand)

I find that I move through the world differently now that I have friends who use cameras so often. I often think of scenes as pictures. I can see the whole scene and then how I would shoot it to capture an amazing image.

This has really expanded my way of seeing the world.

I guess it's like an extra filter that I can put on my brain. And I like having many pretty filters.
