Nice - usually when i'm editing I tend to lean away from cloning things out - leaning more towards creative level/color/masking adjustments. Thinking more about the photo, though - I wonder what it would do to the picture if I had put a tight spotlight on the outlet itself, sized/shaped to prevent much in the way of spill onto the wall around it.

(I won't even go into the whole edit vs. no editing debate that's going on in some photo communities - though, for me it usually boils down to just a lack of time)

i am just learning all this stuff so i get overy excited. i mean, in the end it isn't 100% than dodging things out if you were doing this all old school with chemicals and stuff. i've finally decided to embrace photoshop.

Yay! Seriously - I love hearing about people getting very excited about new things - I pity the people who have to put up with me going on and on about film here these days :)

Oddly enough, thinking about things in a dodging/masking/adjusting levels sense and such when doing digital editing is precisely because I'm thinking about things on more of a film/chemical/developing side. It's fun stuff, all around, though!
